This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse ("Pulse", "we", "us"), a service operated by [legal entity name], collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Pulse website, dashboard, SDK, and APIs (together, the "Service"). Pulse helps mobile app businesses ("Customers") understand which TikTok video drove installs and revenue in their apps.
Pulse is a business-to-business analytics tool. There are two groups of people whose information may be involved:
From Customers, directly: your email address and login credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in plain text), the app names and bundle identifiers you create, the API keys we generate for you, and the TikTok Ads account details you connect.
From a Customer's app, through the SDK: pseudonymous device identifiers, TikTok click identifiers (ttclid), event data such as installs and conversions and any revenue amounts you choose to report, and timestamps. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, precise location, or other directly identifying information about app end users through the SDK.
From TikTok: when a Customer connects a TikTok Ads account, we retrieve advertiser, video, and performance metrics (such as spend, impressions, and clicks) using TikTok's Marketing API and the access token the Customer authorizes.
Automatically: standard server logs and, in your browser, local storage we use to keep you signed in.
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
We retain Customer account information for as long as the account is active. Event and attribution data is retained to provide historical reporting and is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after a Customer closes their account or requests deletion, subject to our legal obligations.
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level access controls in our database, and per-app API keys that authorize event ingestion. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object or withdraw consent. Customers can manage much of their data directly in the dashboard. For app end users, requests should generally be directed to the Customer whose app collected the data; where we act as processor, we will assist that Customer in responding. To exercise rights that apply to information we control, contact us at the address below.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Customers are responsible for ensuring their own apps comply with laws applicable to children's data (such as COPPA and the age policies of Apple and TikTok).
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
